@urbex2007 They are revenue cams, in fact I believe a lot of counties have turned their cameras off after a freedom of information request found they weren’t doing anything other than making money.

@advancedbiker Indeed, however try telling that to Police Constable Jon James Dougal of Northumbria Police Traffic unit, who , whilst doing 94mph (On a “jolly”) in hisLiveried T5 patrol car NO BLUES OR TWO’S killed a teenage girl. called Hayley Addemson ( RIP) in Scotswood, Rd Newcastle upon Tyne, traffic Cop PC Dougal, showed No remorse whatsoever, in Murdering this 16 years old teenager.
@lastpostbugler – Both drivers are volunteers who form part of Staffordshire Community First Responders – West Midlands Ambulance Service. When I did the training they were allowed to travel on Blue Lights. I think they now have to stop at Red Lights. Things have changed as I do not do the training anymore. I will pm you if you need anymore info.
@advancedbiker Was the driver “on test” for the advanced class i If so, I was led to believe that a i hour commentary was included as part of said test, or was this a “blues& Twos” training run. Do First responders travel on BLUE or Green lights, No one seems to know that one. BRILLIANT DRIVING & BRILLIANT instructor, were they BOTH ambulance service or otherwise, be interested in knowing. Sadly, the Traffic police officers In northumbria , Just speed & Kill teenagers, PC Dougal, 94MPH.
@urbex2007 well they should be called revenue cameras. they do nothing to promote safety. drivers who know the road and the location of cameras merely slow down for the camera then speed back up again. this is actually MORE dangerous. On the flip side I live near a road that has 7 cameras in one direction over the course of about two miles. Yet if you speed through all of them you get one ticket and one fine, as this is classed as ONE instance of speeding! Its all about the money!

You are not following guidelines correctly. You do NOT force people on to a roundabout or across traffic lights by sitting right up behind with a siren on. You should know better. I see the result of police driving dangerously, the crashes they have and injuries and deaths caused to innocent road users and pedestrians. It’s good to see them all prosecuted. It’s a shame the public don’t get to hear about many of them. Don’t refer to safety cameras s revenue cameras you complete idiot, get a life.

non Police ? That’s a Ford Focus Estate Plice Driver Training vehicle with Police personnel on board.
If I remember correctly, there is a secondhand tyre garage up to the left at 9:10.if I’m right, I have a superb memory as I have been there only once for a replacement when one of my rear tyres blew out on the M6 at 80mph!
I think this should be included in every driving exam, including driving with a lorry for a day.

“Saab’s still with us” LOL that’s because you are going about 85mph only. If the sirens are on it means that the police car is responding to an emergency and won’t stop anyone for speeding as long as its not dangerous. If you drove an undercover police car on the motorway, you would note that at certain times of day, the modal-average would be 80-90mph. PS. A Volvo estate travelling at speeds above 70mph does not count as an undercover police-car.
@advancedbiker very much doubt it, im not a firefighter myself but i was applying but recruitment has hit an all time low
I dont know when it will pick up again but as a young lad living in nowhere(hertfordshire0 ive applied for the army and hope to come back to firefighting in a few years!
